Melrose was engaged by DWS Group to deliver a speculative suite upgrade within the heritage-listed 180 Queen Street building in Brisbane. The project repositions the existing space into a contemporary workplace, designed to attract future tenants while respecting the character of the building.
The works included the delivery of a complete office fitout, incorporating new workstations, meeting rooms, boardrooms, and kitchen and breakout facilities. Existing heritage elements were carefully refurbished and integrated into the design, balancing modern functionality with the building’s historic fabric.
Following demolition works undertaken by others, Melrose coordinated the delivery of the new fitout to create a turnkey space ready for occupation. The result is a flexible, high-quality workplace that enhances leasing appeal while maintaining the integrity of the heritage environment.
