What you’ll do

- Code card transactions and maintain supporting evidence and orderly digital files.
- Prepare debtor setups and invoices, send statements and reminders, and follow up unallocated receipts.
- Control payroll timesheet cut-off and resolve exceptions each pay cycle.
- Complete monthly bank, trust, credit and fleet card reconciliations, month-end journals, and GL reconciliations.
- Maintain the fixed asset register and intercompany reconciliations, and refresh the cashflow forecast with commentary.
- Assist with ABS surveys, external reporting, audits, and continuous improvement of templates and checklists.
- Support Jobpac user maintenance and basic ERP tasks.
What you’ll bring
- Certificate IV or Diploma in Accounting or Bookkeeping, or equivalent experience.
- Strong reconciliation skills across bank, trust, GL, intercompany, and card accounts, and confident Excel capability.
- Disciplined document management suited to audit readiness and discreet handling of payroll and banking information.
- Bonus points for experience with Jobpac or a similar construction ERP, ABS portals, and bank portals.
- Nice to have: familiarity with Queensland Project Trust Accounts and Retention Trust Accounts, BIF Act, QBCC, and Security of Payment.
How you work
- Highly organised, detail-focused, proactive, and solutions-oriented.
- Clear communicator who can manage competing priorities and uphold privacy, probity, and segregation of duties.
Why join us
- Make a tangible impact in a growing builder where your accuracy keeps projects moving.
- Work with a supportive Finance Manager and a close-knit team that values continuous improvement.
- A values-driven culture that rewards Care, Dependable delivery, and Excellence.
